Piaggio has left its mark on two-wheeled history. The Italian manufacturer, inventor of the legendary Vespa (the "wasp" in Italian), has made innovation and creativity its hallmarks.

In 2006, sixty years after the launch of the Vespa, Piaggio caused a sensation when it brought out the MP3, a three-wheeled scooter with two wheels at the front. This bold creation soon found its mark and was rapidly adopted as an archetypal city vehicle.

Since its launch in 2006 the Piaggio MP3 has gone far beyond the expectations of even its creators, and is the undisputed number 1 in its class.

Exceptional stability and additional safety

Thanks to its two front wheels, the Piaggio MP3 provides the kind of stability that's unparalleled among its rivals with only one front wheel. The increased contact surface with the road also produces remarkable braking performance.

A simple B permit is all you need to drive one. Its ABS and Piaggio's ASR system allows you to control any skidding of the back wheel, especially on damp surfaces. The Piaggio MP3 is a true demonstration of innovation and displays real value-added technology.

The elongated seat allows the driver to enjoy total comfort. Passengers also receive special attention: a dedicated headrest and footrest so they can enjoy the journey.

For your Piaggio MP3, choose MICHELIN City Grip tyres

Michelin came up with its City Grip tyres to deliver on a promise: no skidding on damp surfaces. As a result, the City Grip is Michelin's best-gripping scooter tyre, thanks to its new MICHELIN PST strip technology.

The first choice of many large motorcycle manufacturers across the world, these tyres are fitted as standard on more than 40 models of scooter. They come in a range of sizes that cover most scooters above 125cc.
